Bolstering alliances for a prosperous EU – Malaysia partnership

The EUROCHAM Malaysia advocacy team is your voice in Malaysia ensuring that the European business community is heard and its concerns taken into consideration by the Malaysian government. As chamber of chambers, we are working closely with our founding members the EU bilateral chambers of commerce represented in our board, the European Union Delegation in Malaysia, the national embassies and trade counsellors to influence business regulations as well as promote the ease of doing business in Malaysia.

We invite European companies to become either advocacy members through our EU bilateral chambers of commerce or direct members of EUROCHAM Malaysia, and share with us concerns as well as challenges in the current business environment through our sectoral committee meetings. Through government relations management, advocacy campaigns and events as well as advocacy publications, we positive affect policies.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COMMITTEES

To advocate the necessities of the EU business community with the goal of improving the business environment in Malaysian market.
To promote, support and develop EU-Malaysia business interests and investment opportunities in Malaysia.
To foster partnerships between EU and Malaysia based on mutual, long term and measurable commitments for sustainable business development.
Our sectoral committees assist the EUROCHAM Malaysia advocacy team in formulating advocacy initiatives by providing knowledge and inputs to Position Papers, Media Statements and government dialogues. The committees are most competent in identifying and highlighting the most pressing issues in managing their business successfully in Malaysia and therefore provide relevant recommendations. The EUROCHAM Malaysia advocacy management, may invite the committees to involve or even represent EUROCHAM Malaysia in sector-specific government dialogues, meetings and events as and when required.
